The following course duration’s are based on a Counterbalance, Reach, Pivot Steer, Side Loader and Rough Terrain truck types.
Candidates who hold a valid certificate of operations which is over three years old. Our instructors can train up to three candidates – 1 day.
Drivers with experience but have no formal training:
One candidate – 1.5 days.
Two candidate’s – 2 days.
Three candidate’s – 3 days.
Candidates who hold valid certificate of basic training and require training on new truck types or attachments:
One candidate – 1 day.
Two candidate’s – 1.5 days.
Three candidate’s – 2 days.
No operating experience:
One candidate – 3 days.
Two candidate’s – 4 days.
Three candidate’s – 5 days.
Relmes Forklift Driver Training charge per day not per candidate, and can train up to three candidate’s in one day.
All successful candidates will receive a R.T.I.T.B nationally recognised certificate of basic training and have the option to be placed on the NORS – National Operators Registration Scheme. All of our courses follow the Approved Code of Practice (ACOP) as laid down by the Health & Safety Commission, and are approved by the H.S.E. These set the legal minimum standard of basic training candidate’s should receive before they are allowed to operate certain types of lift truck, setting a standard for employers and training providers alike. Therefore complying with the law and legislation, employers and training organisations who full short of these regulations are liable to prosecution.
